thomas sadoski-2Sadoski started his stage career on stage as an actor's understudy for Mark Ruffalo (Mark Rosenthal) in the Off-Broadway production of the Second Stage Theatre of Kenneth Lonergan's critically acclaimed play This is Our Youth. [3] It marked the first of many productions by the theatre company based in New York. He has participated in many Off-Broadway and Broadway productions, as well performing in regional theatres. He portrayed Greg in Neil LaBute's production of Reasons to be Pretty for MCC Theatre with his Newsroom co-star Alison Pill. It was a highly-acclaimed Off-Broadway production that was a huge success and sold to the max. In April of 2009, it moved to Broadway and received three Tony Award nominations: Best actor: Sadoski; Best Actress: Marin Ireland; Best Play; and three Drama Desk Award nominations: Best actor, Best Director Terry Kinney and Best actor. [6] Neil LaBute gives credit to Sadoski for the change in tone and the reasons for being pretty that was inspired by the playwright's earlier works. Sadoski, Ben Stiller, Edie Failco Jennifer Jason Leigh, Alison Pill and Alison Pill were also seen on Broadway in John Guare's House of Blue Leaves.
