Niykee's personal highlights include getting selected to be part of Snoop on the YouTube Brandcast, in May 2013, and writing songs in spite of the chaos over the last few years. Now a magnet for up-and-coming producers, she regularly combs through beats she receives and discovers that a lot of them are able to spark song ideas. She states that she can determine if the beat is good in just five seconds. And then, a brand new track will come into her brain. I go out to my back porch with my guitar, and then the lyrics are just a matter of time and typically it's all done in under thirty minutes. Niykee states that, as she develops as a lyricist her painful memories from her youth serve as source of inspiration. "Even when I don't write about my life directly, the sadness of losing my sister and the pain of my childhood experiences are integrated into my music," she says. This influences my music and adds more profund significance. To me, this is what makes a difference to succeeding.
