Lis Wiehl was born on the 19th of August, 1962. She is a former Fox News legal analyst.
She's a professor adjunct of law at New York Law School, as well as an adjunct professor at University of Washington Law School. She provided legal commentary on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factor and National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File alongside Megyn Kelly Lou Dobbs Tonight The Imus morning shows, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born and raised in Yakima and went to West Valley High School. She holds a qualification from Barnard College (1983), a Masters of Arts in Literary Studies from University of Queensland (1985), and she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) from Harvard Law School (1997).
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. She worked as a correspondent for legal issues to NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats within the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." She was a tenured professor of legal studies in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001, and she directed an organization called the Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl worked as an attorney analyst at Fox News.
