Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a musician who works most often in Tamil as well as Malayalam movies that are based on the Tamil language. Annayum, a Malayalam film, was her Malayalam debut as an actor. Andrea Jeremiah is from an Anglo-Indian background. She was the daughter of an attorney from the Madras High Court attorney. There is also one younger sister, who is currently working as a research associate Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was raised within Chennai. He was a student at National Public School. After his graduation, he attended Women's Christian College. Andrea started the classical piano at eight, has been called an "geek" and was aspiring to become a psychiatrist until her 12th grade board exam. In her twenties, she became a part of a group called the Jackson Five Young Stars which formed the foundation of her singing and music composing career. She appeared as a performer at the college, in a variety of shows hosted through The Madras Players or EVAM. She was president of Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea's stage career started with the play of Girishkarnad Nagamandala. The actress acted in the new leo commercial for coffee with the actor Shiva in 2006. Also, she was a part of a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. The actress performed all over India. She was in a small role during the climax of Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Vaisudev menon was able to have her sing in the film Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu, then wanted her to take on the female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam.
